Therapsida: Chiniquodon brasiliensis

Chiniquodon was a widespread genus of Chiniquodontid cynodonts from the middle triassic of south america and madagascar. Cynodontia is a large group of therapsids that also includes modern mammals and their closest, more immediate relatives. In the past, and way up to the early cretaceous, non mammalian cynodonts were amongst the most common small predators of the late paleozoic and mesozoic period, occupying a diverse variety of niches that would later be taken by their more recent cousins the mammals. 

Chiniquodon brasiliensis was found on Brazil's Santa Maria formation and coexisted with mighty beasts such as Dinodontosaurus and Prestosuchus.
